REQUEST PRAYER AND CARE
At Hopewell, we care deeply about our neighbors. In recent months, there has been a significant rise in requests for assistance in our community, especially around food and basic needs. Because of this surge and our limited capacity to manage the volume of individual requests, we are temporarily unable to provide direct assistance through the church.
Instead, we are partnering closely with the local organizations best equipped to respond. We typically refer individuals and families to The Lord’s Pantry and Ebenezer Food Pantry for food assistance, and we are financially supporting their work during this crisis so they can continue to serve our community well.
If you are seeking help with food, you can also visit the Chester County Food Bank website for a list of local organizations: https://chestercountyfoodbank.org/find-help/food-finder/
For shelter and additional resources, please call 2-1-1, the Chester County resource number, or visit: https://www.pa211.org/
We remain committed to caring for our community with compassion and wisdom in this challenging season.
