 FAMILY/ADULT: Receive clothing donations at Hopewell Church (5:00-8:00 PM)

ALL: Meet Pastor Amy in the lobby at Hopewell for a prayer walk (6:30-7:30 PM)

FAMILY/ADULT: Receive clothing donations at Hopewell Church (time slots from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

STUDENTS: Receive clothing donations at Hopewell and work on projects for the community (10:00 AM-12:00 PM)

CHILDREN: Service project at Hopewell 1:00-3:00 PM

CHILDREN: Kid’s Prayer Walk with Pastor Vicki during the 1:00-3:00 PM project.

FAMILY/ADULT: Receive clothing donations at Hopewell Church (time slots from 12:00 – 4:00 PM)

FAMILY/ADULT: Rake and clean up leaves in the Hopewell amphitheater. Bring your rakes and leaf blowers! 1:00-4:00 PM

ALL: Prayer walk at Hopewell with Pastor Eddie at 12:00 PM.

TODAY'S PRAYER FOCUS:  Empower us to DO your work and live in such a way that God's kingdom comes on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

ADULT: Flood relief work in Downingtown (paint), 9:00 AM-4:00 PM

ADULT: Pack food boxes at the Chester County Food Bank, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM

FAMILY/ADULT: Receive clothing donations at Hopewell Church (time slots from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

FAMILY/ADULT: Create care packages for health care workers and then deliver them (at Hopewell, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM)

CHILDREN: Service project at Hopewell 10:00-12:00 PM

STUDENTS: Prayer walk at Downingtown West High School with Caasi Grove at 11:00 AM. Meet at the flagpole. Though all are welcome, this walk is especially for students (of any school).

STUDENTS/ADULT: Give blood at Hopewell through the American Red Cross. (TIME SLOTS FULL.)

FAMILY/ADULT: Make or drop off food at Hopewell for City Gate Shelter from 3:00-5:00PM

FAMILY/ADULT: Deliver food to City Gate Shelter in Coatesville at 5:00PM

ALL: Prayer walk with Pastor Amy at 12:00 PM at Hopewell

ALL: Drop off new socks, hats, and gloves to the Hopewell Church lobby. Items will be donated to area shelters and organizations.

ALL: Create a blessing bag for residents of local nursing homes and drop off to the Hopewell lobby (see below for instructions).

ALL: Clothing drive to benefit mental health initiatives for students in partnership with Downingtown West High School. Drop off new or used clothing and shoes to the yellow truck in the Hopewell parking lot. Drop off times: Friday, January 14, 5:00-8:00 PM, Saturday, January 15, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Sunday, January 16, 12:00-4:00 PM, Monday, January 17, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

ALL: Give directly to the mental health initiatives using the giving button at the top of the page.

ALL: Write a card of gratitude and encouragement for a staff member at Brandywine Hospital and return to Hopewell Church entryway by Monday, January 17. Write or make cards at home or stop by the card station at Hopewell over the weekend. We need 400 cards to say “thank you” to each staff member as the hospital closes this month.

ALL: Using a kit from the Hopewell entryway, create a stitched cross for our partners in South Africa. Instructions are included. Best for ages 10+. Return to the Hopewell entryway.

Blessing Bags

These thoughtful bags will be gifted to residents of local nursing homes and are a great way to share love and light with those who might be sick, lonely, or just in need of a boost. Please fill a gift bag or small tote bag with NEW ITEMS ONLY and drop off in the Hopewell Church lobby. Here’s a list of suggested items. Feel free to make your bag as simple or elaborate as you want! PLEASE NOTE: Please do not provide anything edible as many residents have strict dietary restrictions. Thank you!
