At Hopewell UMC, we are transforming how kids connect to Christ through dynamic, hands-on learning experiences that are fun and meaningful. Serving children from birth through 6th grade, our ministry offers multiple worship opportunities, interactive events, and ways for kids to deepen their faith and friendships. Weekly Programming at Hopewell

Revolve Sunday School

Revolve is Hopewell’s weekly children’s program, offered year-round during the 9:30 and 11:00 services. While families worship, kids enjoy age-appropriate classrooms where they explore Bible stories through crafts, games, and creative experiences. Check-in begins at the Children’s Welcome Station outside the Sanctuary. At 9:30, we offer four classrooms from nursery through 6th grade; at 11:00, a smaller mixed-age group emphasizes relationships and focused learning. Families are also welcome to worship together with resources in the Kids’ Corner and Comfort Lounge. Watch a short video to learn more here. 

 

Wednesday Night Program

Midweek at Hopewell is a time for ages 3 through 6th grade to pause, connect, and grow. Each Wednesday from 5:30–6:30 PM, kids hear stories, ask questions, and practice simple ways of living God’s love, all while having fun with friends and leaders. The program blends large-group time with age-specific activities and is supported by Junior Leader Academy students who serve as mentors. No registration is required, and friends are welcome.

 

Faith In Action Sunday Night Program

Launched in 2025, Faith in Action runs September through April to help kids grow in faith and put it into practice. Meeting from 5:30–7:30 PM (with some variations), the program rotates between service projects, creative learning, and community experiences. Kids explore themes like kindness, worship, creativity, wellness, and global connection while discovering their gifts. Families can join for one month or the whole year. Campaign for Kindness
October 2025
A month-long family challenge to share God’s love through simple acts of kindness. This year’s highlight is a penny war—bring your pennies, quarters, and cash to support Ebenezer Food Pantry!

Christmas Family Event
